Situated in Mt. Vernon Triangle, at the corner of 5th and Eye Streets NW, the market will feature a diverse mix of art, crafts, imports, antiques, collectibles and furniture every Sunday from 10 – 4 p.m. The market will also feature local specialty food items such as fruits and vegetables, flowers, preserves, prepared foods and beverages, and seating for the community to enjoy this new neighborhood gathering place.

Participants

The market will accept all types of arts, crafts and collectible products.  Additionally, fresh produce, perserved and dried goods, prepared foods and beverages, plants and flowers, breads, diary and meats are also welcome.  Hot food and unique snacks made locally are encouraged.  Other appropriate items may also be added.

Loading / Parking

Exhibitors will be greeted at the entrance by the market manager and directed to their space.  Exhibitors unload and then will be directed to an adjacent parking lot accessed through the rear of the market lot. 

Fees

$25 per space

Spaces / Display

All participants are expected to display their products in a professional and inviting way.  Individual signage is encouraged.  Tables should be covered.  Vendors supply their own tents, umbrellas, chairs and tables, and other display items.  Tents may be staked into the ground or should be weighted.  No electricity is available on site. 

Amenities

Public bathrooms are availble inside theneighboring retail building.  Onsite managment is on hand to assist and porters are available to assist in loading/unloading for tips.  Postcards will be provided to advertise the market, a website will promote market activities and extensive neighborhood and community promotions will occur.  Convenient parking arrangements are available next to the market.
