We are pleased to announce the Fall edition of the Crystal City Crafts Market, featuring a new location, new time and with added amenities!

Now in its fifth year, Crystal City Crafts Market will reposition this event on Thursdays as Happy Hour At The Grounds and will be located on S. Eads and 12th Street in a spacious lot at the intersection of a new Whole Foods, abundant residential high rises and just a block from Pentagon City Mall Metro.

The Market will operate on Thursdays, from 4pm to 8pm, launchingOctober 3 and running through October 24.  A diverse mix of art, crafts, handmade jewelry, accessories, bath/beauty and other local and handcrafted products are desired.  As an additional draw, live-music, a pop-up bar and select food trucks will be part of the programming mix.

The market is a collaborative effort between the Crystal City BID and Diverse Markets Management, (DMM). Crystal City, Arlington’s largest downtown, boasts excellent demographics.  There are nearly 8000 residential units with an estimated average household income of $98,774.

Broad advertising of Crystal City Crafts Market is planned by our co-sponsor, the Crystal City Business Improvement District, both regionally and targeted to the approximately 30,000 office workers, 16,000 residents, and nearly 5,000 hotel rooms.

Convenient and free adjacent loading and parking for the market as well as an affordable $40 space fee are among the markets’ considerable amenities. The market will be managed onsite by Donald Kennedy and vendor relations and booking by Jessica Blaszczak, who is best known in Arlington as the long-time Market Manager of the Ballston Art Market.
